It is possible with mountlo (sourceforge.net/projec...). Here's binary (fuse.sourceforge.net/t...) from 2.6.12-rc5-mm2 with reiser4 support. After formatting a partition or image file use:

./mountlo /dev/xyz /mnt -treiser4
