Release Notes: This is a small release with a very few changes. The main goal of this release was to address implementation problems in the topic view generation algorithm. This version is much simpler and has been tested to work on all supported database systems.
Release Notes: A serious security problem in the uploaded avatar handling code was fixed. A potential non-validated message access in topic tree view was fixed. A major performance improvement was made in the topic view generation code. Support for the [hr] tag in FUDcode was added. A number of other non-security related bugfixes were added as well.
Release Notes: New generation of FUDforum with a significantly improved topic view generation mechanism. Other features include a "most-users-online" statistic, the extension of FUDforum API for external apps, and additions to the single-sign-on script.
Release Notes: FUDforum now supports PHP 5.1 and can utilize the PDO database driver to talk with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite in addition to being able to use the native MySQL and PostgreSQL drivers. The ability to clear the tracker for the NNTP import was added. The FUD API was extended with functions to add and update user accounts. A way to jump across topic pages in the merge topic control panel was added. The [code], [pre], and [php] tags are now excepted from smiley code formatting. Many other bugfixes and improvements were made.
Release Notes: This release can make use of the PDO Database driver for PHP 5.0/5.1 with support for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite backends. It can be installed on systems running PHP 5.1; the few BC changes introduced by this release are now being accommodated. The temporary table usage is now optional, which means forum install no longer requires this permission to be available. A numer of other small features and bugfixes.
Release Notes: A Brazilian Portuguese translation was added. The textarea for message posting may now be resized. The ability to set temporary bans was added. The performance of threaded topic view list rendering was improved. The PNG hack for IE was improved, and it is now done by PHP. An unread message indicator was added for collapsed forums. The message storage algorithm was improved. Many other feature improvenments and bugfixes were made.
Release Notes: The final 2.6.13 release is combination of the fixes and addition made in RC1 and RC2 with a few small additional changes. Some category order and structure fixes were added. Japanese and Romanian translations were updated. Win32-specific timezones were added. An installer workaround was made for systems where .htaccess cannot be written to. Serveral other minor fixes were applied.
Release Notes: The forum name reference in the French and Italian translations has been corrected, and the Japanese translation updated. Captcha generation during registration has been improved. The action log can contain more then 100 characters. Empty categories resulting from permission limitations are not shown. An admin control panel has been added to show all users with elevated access to the forum; this includes administrators, moderators, and group leaders.
Release Notes: This release contains a large number of small bugfixes to various tiny but annoying problems. The fixes focus on PDF generation, PATH_INFO theme, nested category display, and synchronization of forum messages to external sources (email and NNTP).
