Release Notes: This release has an RSS/XML feed caching mechanism, an option to restrict times between login attempts to prevent hammering and complicate dictionary attacks, an option to allow moderators to be notified of all new messages even on non-moderated forums, a subscribed forum filter in the message navigator, and a control panel for MySQL users to simplify SQL table charset adjustment. The Chinese translation has been updated to use UTF-8. There are many other additions and bugfixes.

Release Notes: This release can make use of the PDO Database driver for PHP 5.0/5.1 with support for MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite backends. It can be installed on systems running PHP 5.1; the few BC changes introduced by this release are now being accommodated. The temporary table usage is now optional, which means forum install no longer requires this permission to be available. A numer of other small features and bugfixes.

The action log can contain more then 100 characters. Empty categories resulting from permission limitations are not shown. An admin control panel has been added to show all users with elevated access to the forum; this includes administrators, moderators, and group leaders.
