I've mailed the author bugfixes, but I haven't received answers. I know he's alive, because he's releasing new versions of his window manager IceWM all over the place. Anyway, here's what you'll need to do if you want to be able to recycle "window slots" (alt-1, alt-2, etc.):

In the file o_model.cpp in the method GetNewModelID you need to change:

static int lastid = -1;

int lastid = 0;

Good luck. If Marko scraps this project, I hope someone else will pick up on it. The editor is very neat and fast, and very portable (I started using it on OS/2 back in 1995).
