All releases of Frinika

Release Notes: This release fixes some annoying bugs in 0.5.0, which was never announced to the public. It is bundled with the Gervill soft synthesizer, and has audio recording/editing improvements, a drum pad, priority fixes for Linux, Toot Mixer effects, and much more.

Release Notes: In addition to all new features from beta1 and 2 (Toot mixer, prerendering, mod import, etc.), this release has a new notation editor and a lot of bugfixes.

Release Notes: This is a major upgrade. A soft synth/audio mixer (Toot) was added. Integration with RasmusDSP (RasmusDSP scripts directly in Frinika) was made tighter. Frinika was customized with a built-in JavaScript editor. Lots of GUI enhancements were made. New MIDI editing tools were added. Soft synth prerendering is supported. MOD, S3M, IT, and XM can be imported.

Release Notes: Highlights of this release are recording to audio tracks, full soundfont support using RasmusDSP, tracker editor improvements, and many fixes and tweaks.

Release Notes: It is now possible to click "Apply" on Audio out device settings. The MySampler RecorderGUI now works on Windows. It is now possible to select the audio in device in mySampler. Better latency compensation was provided for MySampler and issues with audio being lost during recording were fixed. MySampler can now record and store stereo samples and will not fail when opening projects when a required external MIDI device is not connected. Different sample rate settings in JACK are now supported.

Release Notes: This is a major upgrade which makes Frinika combine modern sequencing and Amiga-soundtracker style tracking. The highlights of this release are Partview, a piano roll, and support for external MIDI devices. Most bugs from the pre-releases are fixed, so this should now be considered the stable version. Some features from the 0.1 series have not yet been reimplemented, such as saving and loading gears.

Release Notes: This release adds a new Synth based on Bezier curves and undo/redo functionality. JACK audio connection kit is now also supported for Linux on AMD64. Additional audio device tuning parameters were included for flexibility and individual tuning on specific systems. Some GUI decorations and special GUI features were also added.

Release Notes: This release added an ultra-low latency switch for adjusting the CPU intensity needed for extreme low latencies. It is now possible to export one WAV file per track. A peak level indicator and master panel and master volume controls were added. Audio stability and low latency fixes were made. A sine waveform was implemented in Analogika. An issue where Analogika didn't load LoPassSustain settings was fixed.
