    Release Notes: This release is based on FreeBSD 8.3 with version 28 of the ZFS filesystem. This is a major milestone, bringing in the plugin system with ZFS version 28. Development of the 8.2 branch has come to a halt, as both ZFS version 15 as well as FreeBSD 8.2 are no longer supported. There have been no major changes between 8.3.0-RC1 and RELEASE (mostly bugfixes and minor usability improvements to the GUI).

      Release Notes: This is a maintenance release, so no new features have been added. This will be the last stable release based on FreeBSD 6.2. consolehm sensor support was removed because it doesn't work or recognize up-to-date hardware. WebGUI uses NiftyCubes for rounded corners with CSS and JavaScript. The minutes, hours, days, months, and week days are validated. /bin/chflags was added.

        Release Notes: The "Guest account" and "Null passwords" attributes were added to "Samba Settings". WebGUI and rc-script were enhanced to define additional group memberships. uShare UPnP Mediaserver was replaced with MediaTomb 0.10.0. The kernel was patched to support ATi IXP600/700 PATA/SATA. SSL/TLS support was added to FTP service. and support were added to the "Dynamic DNS" service. The OS install and upgrade procedure was refactored. NFS share configuration support was added. NFS server processes may be configured.

          Release Notes: This release adds a 'Profile' dropdown box on the UPnP page. XboX 360 users should use the XboX 360 compliant profile. PS3 users should try DLNA. If the 'Default' doesn't work with your UPnP client, also try the DLNA compliant profile. Some bugs have been fixed.
