Release Notes: This release replaces the PortAudio and PortMidi support with ALSA and alsaseq. PortAudio and PortMidi are still supported on systems without ALSA. The "Bark scale" is now provided for spectrogram plotting, which enhances the visibility of the audio wave in the frequency domain. There were also some bugfixes and minor optimisations.

Release Notes: Freecycle now depends only on libsndfile, fftw3, and Qt. All the other dependencies are optional. Some optimizations and bugfixes were also made.

Release Notes: Lot of new features wer added in this release, including a fully functional MIDI subsystem, allowing the assignement of MIDI notes to locked beatlines and realtime playing of MIDI note events. Freecycle now supports drag'n'drop from/to or within Freecycle. Moreover, it allows the dragged and dropped waves to be stacked and assigned to a scene. The other new addition to Freecycle is the SoundFont export, allowing easy integration of the work done with Freecycle with sequencer software such as Muse or Rosegarden.

Release Notes: Crop now crops the entire project (wave, beatlines, and LADSPA automation). Some memory leaks that occurred when loading or saving projects frequently were fixed. The LADSPA automation frame now shows the value when dragging a line, polyline, or spline.

Release Notes: Freecycle projects can now be saved and loaded. A Freecycle project file contains the wave data, locked beatlines, LADSPA information (for routing and automation), envelope data, and loop positions. Audio samples between two locked beatlines can be dragged out from Freecycle and dropped as files to a file manager or any application that supports the dropping of audio files. Locked beatlines are now visible in the LADSPA automation frame, which allows the locking of spline/polyline points to the beat. Bugfixes and optimizations were made, and redundancies were removed.

Release Notes: This release adds a complete rewrite of the internal audio workflow, which enhances the stability of Freecycle, corrects the round-off errors in the spectrogram view, adds Polyline and Bézier draw modes for LADSPA automation, and adds a nonlinear amplitude envelope on each locked beatline.
