      Release Notes: This release will become the first "Errata Branch". Release branches for previous versions would only have critical security fixes applied. Now, the scope of fixes will be expanded to include local denial of service fixes, as well as other significant and well-tested fixes that may not represent security issues.

                  Release Notes: accept_filters, a kernel feature to reduce overhead when accepting and reading new connections on listening sockets, has been added. POSIX.1b Shared Memory Objects are now supported. Support for ATA100 controllers and tagged queueing was added. This release also includes sendmail 8.11.1, OpenSSL 0.9.5a, OpenSSH 2.2.0, and the usual suspects of bug fixes and improvements.

                    Release Notes: IPSEC and IPv6 code improvements (FreeBSD can now be installed on an IPv6-only network), OpenSSH 2.1.0, removal of the 1024th cylinder limitation, default shell of tcsh instead of csh, replacement of more with less, color ouput support in ls, and the habitual bugfixes.
