Release Notes: A new capability was added to search for and report any image metadata (EXIF, IPTC, etc.). Thumbnail images are shown with metadata text. Indexing new photos is 2x faster (up to 1000/minute). The main window can be more easily zoomed and panned during a dialog that is also using the mouse. You can zoom in/out using the mouse wheel. The mouse pointer tracks the zoom center to the middle of the window. The zoom ratio is configurable: 1-4 zooms for each 2x increase. Print color adjustments can be saved to a file for re-use. Three minor bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: An new edit function can be started without closing a prior edit: changes are kept and an undo/redo position is added. Brightness and color functions can recall prior settings for processing multiple photos made under the same lighting. RAW files work like other image files: open and edit, then save in the desired format (auto-copy to tiff-16 was removed). There is a new option to show metadata captions and comments above each image. These can also be edited and written graphically on the image. Mashup editing is faster, especially for painting transparencies. Three minor bugs were fixed.
Release Notes: This release fixes flatten brightness distribution not working for large images.
Release Notes: Functional additions include the following: "Paint" variable transparency on images in a Mashup layout. Navigate and view images during File Synchronization (but not edit). Batch upright photos that are turned 90 degrees. Slide Show can pause and play a tone at preselected images. A selected area can be expanded or contracted in 1-pixel steps (reduce edge effects when editing an area selected by color matching). You can highlight the darkest and brightest image areas using adjustable thresholds. Three minor bugs were corrected.
Release Notes: A workaround was implemented to compensate for a GDK change (first seen in Ubuntu 13.10). Right-click popup menus no longer receive mouse button events, and menu selection is by right drag/button release instead of left-click. This makes it too easy to accidentally execute the first menu entry just by releasing the right mouse button.
Release Notes: Mashup images and text can be moved, resized, and rotated using only the mouse. The Trim and Rotate functions were combined for faster workflow, and guidelines for image leveling can be added with a click. Flatten and Expand brightness distribution were combined for faster workflow. Slide Show can be paused and resumed at a new position, and images with the tag 'pause' will beep and wait for the user to resume. Paint/Clone can paint or erase gradually or fully in one stroke. Several minor improvements in the user interface were made. Edit Translation was broken and two other bugs were fixed.
