Release Notes: This is a security focused release. It has more than 120 fixes and enhancements relative to 1.1.4. For users, the TinyMCE Editor is upgraded from 3.3.8 to 3.4.6, registration errors are now returned to users in their selected language, and there are new SpreadSheetPlugin operators: FLOOR and CEILING. For administrators, the default encoding for .htpasswd has changed and the the password encoding AutoDetect option is enabled by default. There is improved session support for mixed HTTP and HTTPS environments, and the Configure and admin password uses stronger encoding.

The updated JQuery 1.7.1 allows new possibilities for smart user interaction for the application developer. An enhanced SpreadSheetPlugin has new functions. Enhancements have been made to how users can format the email messages sent by Foswiki. Support for sending Email (SMTP) over SSL adds support for Gmail and other providers.


Release Notes: The WYSIWYG editor TinyMCE was updated to 3.3.9.3. The Fatwilly PatternSkin theme has been fixed. The UI for managing webs was improved. The default version of jQuery is now 1.4.3. The code that sends email was improved. The configuration user interface has been further improved. The use of international characters in attachment names was improved. An annoying issue where configure could only install or upgrade one extension at a time was fixed. The page feature was improved and fixed for SEARCH. The SEARCH limit was fixed so it once again works per web.


Release Notes: This release fixes some very important bugs, including a security related bug. Installations running 1.1.0 and 1.1.1 should be upgraded to 1.1.2.

Release Notes: Foswiki 1.0.10 was built as a patch release with more than 410 bugfixes relative to 1.0.0. It is assumed to be the last 1.0.X release. If you already run 1.0.9 and you do not have any severe issues with it, you are recommended to stay with 1.0.9 and wait for 1.1.0.


Release Notes: This release fixes some of the new annoyances that Tiny MCE Editor 3.2.7 introduced in previous release. The very advanced strikeone CSRF protection that was introduced in 1.0.6 has now also been implemented to make it harder to create registration bots. The default password length is now 7 instead of 1 character. Upgraders will be not be affected by this default change. A rare race condition has been identified where .htpasswd files could be truncated on a very busy site or during a spam robot attack.


Release Notes: This is a patch release with more than 280 bugfixes relative to 1.0.0 and some enhancements. This release fixes a short list of quite annoying old bugs, including a bug that prevented efficient use of MailerContrib for producing newsletters. The WYSIWYG editor has been upgraded with the latest Tiny MCE editor release 3.2.7. Upgrading is highly recommended as the upgrade is easy, seamless, and adds additional stability and security.

A major enhancement that also fixes many annoying editor bugs is the upgrade of the Tiny MCE editor to version 3.2.2.
