Fluere is a graphical software package for particle image velocimetry (PIV). Fluere is highly optimized for parallel processing and runs on multiple platforms. The goal of the project is to provide researchers and educators with high-quality velocimetry software that incorporates the latest advancements in PIV processing, while having complete knowledge of the algorithms used.

Release Notes: This release adds Predictor filtering via second-order spatial regression. This has been shown to be the preferred filtering method for iterative PIV interrogation that maximizes spatial resolution while minimizing random noise. References and proof of the effect on spatial resolution can be seen in the validation section of the manual. This release also adds Gaussian window weighting. This reduces the random error when using small windows and greatly enhances the spatial resolution. This can also be seen in the manual.
