Release Notes: F.L.A.V.I.O. now includes its own netflow_collector.pl module that makes it a entirely standalone collector, loader, aggregator, and grapher. It also supports new on-the-fly parsing modes to avoid wasting hard disk space at all and to keep the databases constantly updated.

Release Notes: Timezone support was enhanced in netflow_parse.pl. In order to improve speed, "create table" was made conditional for OSU Flow-Tools output parsing in netflow_parse.pl.

Release Notes: A "fast mode" was added to netflow_parse.pl which avoids looking for existing records in daily tables in order to update them if the new potential record matches with it. It may create bigger tables if there is more than one ASCII source file for the same period and the same customer/IP, which is unlikely to happen. On the other hand, it will considerably improve speed, as it will avoid a SELECT and an UPDATE to the big daily tables.

Release Notes: A new "single customer" mode in netflow_graph.pl to allow on-the-fly graphing for a single customer, and a new "read from STDIN" mode in netflow_parse.pl to speed up parsing and to avoid temporary files.

Release Notes: Every component now runs in strict mode. Timezone support was added to NFC mode in netflow_parse.pl. A bug in netflow_aggregate.pl that prevented it from generating Totals and Interfaces information was fixed. Some miscellaneous bugfixes and code cleanups were made.

Release Notes: A customers aggregation mode was added to netflow_graph.pl so that you can get graphs aggregated by customers' names instead of IP addresses. This feature was requested by users to allow reporting and billing per customer instead of per IP. Both modes (aggregation per IP and aggregation per customer) are fully supported.

Release Notes: Preliminary Flow-Tools support was added. Netblock mode support was added to the customers table, allowing one to set just the first and the last consecutive IP of a customer. This release breaks compatibility with version 1.2.1, so all users should read the file named "IMPORTANT" for more information about this incompatibility.

Release Notes: New boundary limits to graphs to avoid overruns, changing the database format, rewriting netflow_graph and netflow_aggregate from the ground up for better readability, new options to differentiate by Autonomous Systems and differentiate by Interfaces, and optimized indexes and queries for improved speed. Warning: database format has changed to accomodate Autonomous System and Interfaces data. Drop of old tables and a parse and aggregate re-run is recommended.

Release Notes: Added a "C" mode to netflow_parse.pl to avoid having separate directories for incoming and outgoing traffic, sanity verification to netflow_parse.pl for aggregation format and period, summary information and a 95th percentile red line to graphs, and a dashed grid to enhance visibility. Total traffic graphs titles were centered. Configurable variables in scripts were reordered for improved readability, and 95th percentile accumulators are now independent for week, month, and year in netflow_aggregate.pl. Added an index by IP to the customers table.
