Version 2.0 alpha3 of Fire

Release Notes: The alpha3 release is available on the SourceForge SVN. This release includes bugfixes both on the core of the engine and on the browser component. The browser is now synchronized and can send the events generated inside a page to an external listener. There are two new animation classes: one for displaying popup windows and one for animating softkey buttons. There are speed improvements through out the source. Cookie support was improved. Images within a page are now cached.

Release Notes: Support was added for content handlers. The UnsupportedHandler class was added to handle unsupported HTTP responses. FireScreen now exposes the getKeyStates method, which improves game development support. Support for canceling ongoing requests was improved. Alerts, Animations, and the GUI look and feel were improved.

Release Notes: Since the release of 2.2, there are some important bugfixes and other small additions to the API which are not part of the new features planned for 2.3. All of these are packaged in this minor release.

    Release Notes: Most of the changes are bugfixes, but there are also a couple of important new features. The most important addition to this release is the landscape modes and the new way of handling softkeys.
