Release Notes: This release includes Linux kernel 2.6.15, improved hardware detection, improved reliability when booting from USB CD-ROM and thumb devices, hard drive installation support, a smaller ISO size, and an expanded general-purpose task utility, aptly named "finnix".
Release Notes: This release includes Linux kernel 220.127.116.11, unionfs 1.1.1, and updated upstream packages. Many bugs were fixed. Most visibly, the CD will now reliably eject before the system shuts down. A PowerPC port was introduced along with support for User Mode Linux and Xen. A sample UML implementation was included on the x86 CD. Typing "finnix create" at the bash prompt will create a new UML guest.
Release Notes: This is the first stable release since the original Red Hat-based Finnix distro almost 6 years ago. It is a 97.1MB ISO image and includes 336 Debian packages.
