    Release Notes: Version 0.15.0 of the package manager was released for people not using Panther, and version 0.15.1-beta was released for further testing with Panther. A code freeze on the 10.2-gcc3 tree is in effect. Preperations for the new bindist are coming to an end.

      Release Notes: A 10.3 and 10.2-gcc3.3 tree was introduced. Testing for Panther is moving along. fink 0.14.2 has been released to stable. fink 0.14.3-beta was released for Pather beta testing. The rsync method for distributing info files has been introduced. Everyone is encouraged to switch to the rsync method. Major updates were made to the package manager itself. Improvements were made to support Panther.

        Release Notes: Work to get Fink ready for Panther (Mac OS X 10.3) has started. Major package info updates were made to align things with Panther. A problem with the Developer Tools update and g77 has been identified. Bootstrap changes were made, and unzip is now essential.

          Release Notes: The CVS branch has officially moved to 0.5.3. Some minor changes were made. Proftpd-ldap, gnuplot, sawfish, and various other packages were updated.

            Release Notes: This binary distribution features full support for custom installed Perl, tested up to version 5.8.0. Over 1200 packages are now in the binary tree. KDE has been updated to 3.1.2, and other important packages have been moved to Stable. The package manager itself has been updated, bringing numerous improvements. Please note that this release does not oficially support Mac OS X 10.3. Fink will issue a statement about 10.3-compatibility once they have had a chance to test.

              Release Notes: Postfix has been fixed. fink 0.13.2 is in stable, 0.13.3 is in unstable. Major package updates were made, including some preparations for global prebinding. The Cyrus Mail suite has been added. Adjustments were made to support different Perl versions. If you have not updated for a long time, it is recommended you do so.

                Release Notes: KDE 3.1.2 has been added to unstable. This introduces various improvements made by the KDE team as well as an audited and fixed build system for Mac OS X. Libtool 1.5 support has been added as well. Various updates were made to major packages. Updating is recommended if you are running unstable and have not done so in a while.

                  Release Notes: The base files were bumped to 1.8.0, and fixes were made to tomcat. New packages such as sudo and dante were included, and various fixes and improvements were made.

                    Release Notes: Stable version 0.5.2 has been released. Various updates have been made to major packages such as KDE and Modula3. A SOCKS5-capable server, Dante, has been added to the unstable tree. New darkstat packages are available.

                      Release Notes: This release features more than 190 new binary packages, including KDE 3.1 and Koffice 1.2.1. Documentation from the Fink Web site was included, the fink man pages were updated, and various speed and feature improvements were made to the package manager. Fink Commander 0.5.2 was also included for easy graphical administration of the installation.
