Release Notes: Fimex has been backported to compile again with boost 1.32, gcc 4.1, and icc 11. The getScaledDataSlice function is now 1.6 times faster on large datasets due to better internal inlining.
Release Notes: Fimes now has support for prorad XML files and allows setting land-masks after interpolation. Support for the WRF-file convention has been improved, in particular for rotated latitude-longitude grids and when using horizontally-interpolated files. The R and Fortran interfaces have been extended. Grib files in mercator-projection can now be read, and the merge code has been improved.
Release Notes: The Fimex Fortran-interface has been enhanced and is now a first-class interface in the fimex build process, being enabled by a configure switch. Reading of WRF model files was improved by adding vector detection and coordinate recognition. When merging two files, they can now be merged into an independent third grid-definition. Parallelization, in particularly when using Intel Compiler Collection 14 or newer, has been improved. Some smaller bugs when scanning or reading mercator-axes of grib files have been fixed.
Release Notes: The Fimex library has more functionality accessible from C. On top of the C API, Fimex has a new high-level Fortran90 API to read, write, extract, and interpolate data. The command line option process.rotateteToLonLat.directions has been fixed, and CDMReaderWriter has been tested and fixed when changing the datatype. In the API, some define statements have been exchanged with enum.
Release Notes: This release is able to rotate all known spatial vectors from grid to north/east and vice-versa. The vector rotation is now also available in the R interface. In addition, several error messages are now easier to understand.
Release Notes: The recently released API for vertical interpolation contained some typographic errors, which have been corrected. An error with time interpolation and unit changes could lead to strange results. Converting felt data in lambert projection to netcdf gave a wrong latitude origin and has been fixed. A race condition in the logging infrastructure could lead to a segmentation fault and was fixed. It is now possible to extract only the first element of a dimension by using start and end position = 0.
