Feed'n Read (FnR) is a newsfeed reader. It supports all current formats (RSS 0.90, 0.91, 0.92, 0.93, 0.94, 1.00, 2.00, ATOM 0.30 and 1.00). It features multi-tab style reading, tree based favorite management, newsfeed retrieval and updating, newsfeed aggregation, scheduling for automatic newsfeed retrieval, easy news filtering, easy favorite filtering, archive support, newsfeed caching support, RSS enclosure support, podcast support, system tray support, an internal Web browser, OPML import, OPML export, and much more.

      Release Notes: This release adds configuration (using an XML persistence layer), proxy server support, and OPML 1.0 import. It fixes a minor bug causing tray notification not to show up if the main window was sent to a tray by hitting close instead of minimize. It fixes a minor bug causing the DEL key to act as a global accelerator for the removal of a tree element. Filters are now case insensitive. It adds message tabs in case of severe errors, an about dialog, some shortcuts in the help menu to useful application Web sites, and a notification tray alert fade out animation. The icon theme has been changed.

        Release Notes: The internal browser now recognizes links to news feeds. News feeds opened via the address bar now automatically ask if a Favorite should be created. Improved performance of newsfeed updates, especially when updating categories or the entire favorites tree. A bug has been fixed that caused the application to refuse startup if a language was configured on the system for which no language resource was available. A bug has been fixed that sometimes caused the application to stay at 100% CPU usage.
