Release Notes: Package selection within the installer was re-enabled. Support for dmraid was added to the installer. Pirut, a new package installer, remover, and updater tool was introduced. GNOME was updated to 2.13.4. KDE was updated to 3.5.0. The SELinux reference policy was updated to support binary policy modules. eagle, f-spot, and tomboy were added and integrated into Nautilus and Firefox. The distribution is now based on a development version of the coming GCC 4.1 for enhanced performance and security.


Release Notes: This test release features a modular X.org, vastly improved Asian language input support with SCIM, a kernel based on 2.6.15-rc1-git3, GCC 4.0.2, GNOME 2.12, KDE 3.4.92, the Xen 3.0 snapshot for i386, improved open source Java, and major installer changes.

Release Notes: This release brings many enhancements. Furthermore, the system is updated to Gnome 2.8, GCC 3.4.2, Linux 2.6.9, KDE 3.3, and X.org 6.8.1. It now uses a targeted SELinux policy by default. Device nodes are created on demand by udev(8) instead of being statically provided in /dev/.
