fbpanel

fbpanel is a lightweight GTK-2 based desktop panel. It works with any NETWM compliant window manager (i.e. sawfish, Openbox, metacity, xfwm4, and kvm). It features a tasklist, launchbar, clock, pager, icon tray, menu, and desktop switcher.

    Release Notes: This release features major enhancements and bug fixes. New plugins were added for laptop battery monitoring and volume control. Multiline placement of elements in the taskbar and launchbar is supported. The digital clock in vertical layouts now draws the hours above the minutes. Compilation issues in busybox environments were fixed. Locale/NLS issues were fixed in configure. Autohide was improved.

      Release Notes: This release features minor enhancements and bugfixes, namely: a redesign of the configuration engine to be faster and simpler, a script to log out from a user session, the ability to show seconds in the dclock plugin, and bugfixes in mem, taskbar, and menu plugins. Usage of the current icon theme was ensured, and private icons were removed from the package.

        Release Notes: An autohide feature and a digital clock plugin were added. Many bugs were fixed.

          Release Notes: This release includes support for an application menu (generated from *.desktop files), GTK themed icons, and an urgency hint. The pager was enhanced to show desktop wallpaper. All problems with vertical layout were fixed. fbpanel was ported to 64-bit platforms. Additionally, compilation issues with latest gcc and gtk+ were fixed. Some other bugs were also fixed.

            Release Notes: All reported bugs were fixed. The clock applet was made flat. Buttons are highlighted on mouse over.
