Release Notes: The improvements to this version include more flexible data loading options (better error handling, value generation for serial columns), expanded PostgreSQL support (LIMIT clause, TRUNCATE, TEXT, BIT and VARBIT types, BLOB improvements), improved transaction throughput for ETL workloads, better query planning, and other enhancements (cmdline buffering, round robin partitioning).

Release Notes: To improve integration with other applications, SQL reserved words were significantly reduced. Support has been added for BIGSERIAL, INT2, INT4, and INT8. There is increased performance for simple inserts into partitioned tables. The "connection ping" statement that checks the status of a connection is now configurable. Internal handling for leveraging PostgreSQL constraint exclusion partitioning has been improved. A bug has been fixed to allow indexes on subtables. A bug with check constraints has been fixed.
