Release Notes: Bugs were fixed. Java SE 5.0 Update 11 is supported. Windows Vista compatibility was added.
Release Notes: J2SE 1.5.0_08 is supported. Multiple bugs were fixed, including application crashes on DEP-enabled systems, application hangs if HP Share-To-Web is installed, shutdown hooks not working on Linux, and more. The installer dependency on glibc-locale was also removed.
Release Notes: Excelsior JET itself and all but a few optimized applications did not work under Windows XP SP2 or Windows 2003 Server SP1 on AMD64/EM64T systems with hardware Data Execution Prevention (DEP) enabled. EJB3 and JBoss 4.0.3 and up did not work due to a flaw in the implementation of annotations. 32-bit color icons could not be selected in JET Control Panel. On some projects, Excelsior JET could possibly hang for several minutes during compilation with CPU usage at 100% and the progress indicator at 0%. All of these problems were fixed.
Release Notes: Support for J2SE 5.0 Update 3 (1.5.0_03) was added. Customer issues were fixed, including a critical incompatibility with Linux kernel 2.6.11 and higher.
Release Notes: Bugfixes were made. Fedora Core 2 was added to the list of tested distributions.
Release Notes: Many bugs were fixed. JetPackII was ported from Windows. The latest J2SE microversions are supported (but not J2SE 1.5).
Release Notes: This release adds many bugfixes and samples for compiling jEdit and Jext. It still does not work under RH 7.x (and will never work under RH9 due to its messy threading).
