Release Notes: Entry bar tab completion has been added both for when creating items and when setting view options. For example, after entering "@c" when creating an item (or "-c" when setting view options) pressing TAB will pop up a selection list of all contexts used in any of your data files. This also works after "@k" (or "-k") for all keywords and after "@r" for all repetition settings. Access to history lists when setting view options and templates when creating items is now bound to Up-Arrow.
Release Notes: This release adds notes to events, actions, and tasks. A custom color for notes can be set in etmrc. The 12 month calendar has been changed to begin showing the current year and to use different background colors for past, current, and future years. These background colors can be set in etmrc. Options in etmrc have been added either to require or skip confirmations for canceling a an entry in the entry bar (skip); deleting an item (confirm); creating or modifying an item (confirm); and marking a task finished/unfinished (confirm). There are various minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release adds a "show" option to the "reckoning" view, with the option to include events and/or actions, determines the number of columns in the "busy" view automatically using the opening and closing hour settings, adds the ability to set the slotsize for busy time bars in etmrc and with the "busy" view option -S, sets the due date of waiting tasks by default to the last due date of their prerequisites, allows the left and right arrow keys to shift the 12-month calendar display backward and forward by one year at a time, fixes a bug which caused the last keyword of a colon-separated group to be ignored, and adds other minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release expands show options for both agenda and list view to include e) events; a) actions; t) available tasks; f) finished tasks; b) begin task dates; and w) waiting tasks. It adds the ability to set defaults for both in etmrc. It adds display of conflicting events in the graphical display of busy times using a 'conflictchar' that can be set in etmrc. The confirmation dialog has been modified to fix a Windows XP problem.
Release Notes: This release folds the 'waiting for' and 'begin by' items into standard group displays and adds customizable colors to distinguish both from other tasks. It display tasks on the "begin by" date as well as the due date. It fixes a bug in which update_alerts would cancel an in-progress entry. It adds confirmation when exiting while modifying or creating entries.
Release Notes: Regex matching was added to busy view. Support was added for matching strings with Unicode characters. Parsing of entry bar option strings using shlex was improved. The groupby context, project, and keyword options were added to agenda view.
Release Notes: Busychar and freechar are allowed to be set in etmrc and they default to '*' and '-'. An error processing spaces in options entered in the GUI entrybar was fixed. New history items are inserted at the beginning of the list rather than at the end. By default, actions are not displayed in agenda view and changed options include 'e', 'T', and 'a'. Show options were changed to include 'e', 't', 'T', and 'a'. The up-arrow binding was added to select from history in the entrybar. 'L/R arrows: shift interval' were added to the details prompt for list, busy, and reckoning views.
Release Notes: This release adds code to the GUI to allow MS Windows users to 'iconize to the taskbar'. Minor changes were made to the descriptions of 'next' and 'agenda' in etmrc.
Release Notes: This release adds an option to begin a persistent loop in which commands can be repeated in a terminal window without reloading the data files. It changes the entrybar 'leader' key from a backquote to F5 to avoid conflicts for those who need the backquote to enter special characters.
Release Notes: Minor cosmetic changes were made to the GUI. The alert display in the detail bar was limited to the time of the next alert. A bug in refreshing the display after updating the alert queue was fixed. The development status at python.org was changed from beta to production/stable.
