    Release Notes: This production release should now compile with gcc 4.x. In addition, a number of drivers have been updated, including e1000, MCP51 and MCP55 (nvidia), pcnet32, natsemi, sis900, and tg3. NetXtreme II cards are now supported.

      Release Notes: This production release adds support for several 10GB NICs, and allows static boot information to be stored in a ROM. There are also a number of bugfixes, including VMWare support and better PXE compatibility.

          Release Notes: Etherboot now supports booting by the PXE method. It also supports booting on LinuxBIOS from storage devices supported by the FILO subsystem. Drivers for many NIC models were added. Ports to the Hyperstone and ARM (no MMU) CPU architectures were added.

            Release Notes: This release contains a number of updates, but is most notable for the addition of support for filo, btext console, and the ability to boot from USB disks. These features are only used when combined with LinuxBIOS at present. Driver updates include cleanup and fixes for eepro100, rtl8139, sis900, tlan, tulip, and via-rhine. Two new drivers were added for mtd80x and Davicom based cards. Numerous other small housekeeping and cleanup changes.

                Release Notes: Support for LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) as defined in IEEE 803.2ad/D3.0 was added. Some issues with loading FreeBSD images were resolved, and loading Etherboot via pxe was improved for some pxe implementations. The e1000, lance, pcnet32, prism2_pci, r8169, sundance, and via-rhine drivers were updated. Some e1000 based NICs that did not work in 5.2.4 now work. The lance driver has been confirmed to work when Relocation is undefined. The prism2-based wireless PCI cards now work again.

                  Release Notes: With this development release, initial implementation of PXE support has been completed. PXE support is enabled by default. An initial release of DNS resolution support is included but not enabled by default. Major warnings purges were performed. Makefile improvements were implemented; most notably, the default target for "make" was removed and replaced by a message to assist users in choosing a more specific target.

                    Release Notes: This release features PXELINUX support, new drivers for forcedeth and ns83820 NICs, an updated e1000 driver, FreeBSD loader fixes, an updated proto_tftm, experimental HTTP support, and various bugfixes.

                      Release Notes: This release includes a number of small bugfixes, and updates to both the e1000 driver and the multicast TFTP protocol. In addition, this release provides support for two new drivers, the forcedeth (NVIDIA nforce) and the ns83820 (National Semiconductor 83820 Gigabit).
