EText Reader

EText Reader (ETR) is a program for reading ETexts from Project Gutenberg texts. It allows selection of font, and foreground and background colors, as well as persistant reading position and bookmarking. It supports browsing, searching, and direct downloading of Project Gutenberg ETexts. It features a built-in online dictionary for instant word definitions while reading.

    Release Notes: The font preference saving problem on Linux has been fixed (it now records the font foundry), and it now correctly locates Project Gutenberg files created before 1990.

            Release Notes: To facilitate the addition of new file formats, a doc/view architecture is now used. Direct download of etext's from Project Gutenberg sites, word wrap, mouse scrolling, RPM's, a Windows installer, and cutting text to the clipboard have been added.
