Release Notes: Esperantilo offers additional modules for the following types of computer translation: Esperanto to Swedish, Polish to Esperanto, and English to Esperanto. The user interface for the translation dictionary was completely redesigned and extended. The program includes an error reporting tool and automatic update and bugfix availability notification. Bugfixes can be installed automatically.
Release Notes: The user interface for semiautomatic translation was redesigned and rewritten. The program contains a new dictionary user interface, which is directly embedded into the editor area. The searching of a translation is faster now. The quality of grammatical correction and computer translation into the Polish language was improved.
Release Notes: This release contains a thesaurus of the Esperanto language. Syntax analysis was improved for many cases. The grammar checker gives more precise suggestions and recognizes more types of errors. This release can work as an HTTP server or serve as a CGI program for another HTTP server. It offers a simple Web interface for the grammar checker.
Release Notes: This release contains a new grammar checker for Esperanto that can suggest corrections. The quality of grammar checking was improved. The user interface of the grammar checker was redesigned to be more similar to other programs. All grammar errors can be marked like spelling errors. The Polish-Esperanto dictionary was extended. The quality of Polish machine translation was improved. This release can download Esperanto Wikipedia articles and analyze links between Wikipedia articles.
Release Notes: This release can use HTML-Tidy to validate HTML documents. It has an additional pattern-based grammar checker. The grammar rules can be edited and adopted by users. Syntax analysis and machine translation have been slightly improved. Machine translation can use an Esperanto-Esperanto directory to derive unknown translations from compound Esperanto words. All preferences can be edited in one central preferences dialog.
Release Notes: Esperantilo now offers a small browser for free Esperanto REVO-lexicon. Esperantilo can now also use Hunspell as a spell checking engine, so it offers suggestions for misspelled words. Therefore, Esperantilo can now use dictionaries from the OpenOffice.org project and also spell other languages beside Esperanto. Esperantilo now includes a browser for statistical frequency database of word usage in phrases. Machine Translation and syntax analysis was improved for several cases. Some new linguistic analysis was added.
Release Notes: Word order for English and German translations should be correct for all sentence types. Parsing of nfvp (non finite verb phrases) was improved. This release supports the TEI.2 XML format. Spell checking works for XML files directly in the editor. There are new phrase translations for German and Polish, and new analysis tools for word frequency based statistics.
Release Notes: The quality of machine translation for all three languages was improved. Syntax analysis can better handle proper names and pp-phrases alignment. Inflection of Polish nouns was extended and completed. Small bugs were fixed.
