Release Notes: The highlight of this release is the migration to the new data feed provided by the USGS site. The older data feed has been deprecated by the USGS and may be phased out soon. When that happens, older versions of equake will stop working. Other changes include a bugfix in data processing loops, a NULL test for atof() statements, the removal of a stray sprintf() statement in favour of snprintf(), and a patch to allow compilation on FreeBSD using clang.
Release Notes: This release fixed a problem with a data feed which usgs.gov recently changed. Updating to this release is strongly encouraged to avoid problems with retrieving data about earthquakes.
Release Notes: This release marks initial conversion to XFCE using the same codebase. A GUI-driven configuration window has been added, as well as a few cosmetic changes and improvements and some minor bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release addressed some issues with regards to the USGS site changing some of their URLs and paths.
Release Notes: This release adds a feature to monitor earthquakes above a certain magnitude only. A change in the preference file will now be noticed and propagated in the application for real; this happens at the time of an update (either the timed update or through the menu). A "Region:" string has been added to the map label and URL, and some punctuation has been added.
Release Notes: This is the initial release of Equake GNOME applet. The applet has been tested in this form for about a year and is known to have been running very stably and continuously for many months. Please report any feature requests, bugs, or issues you may find.
