Release Notes: This version mostly features build system improvements and documentation additions. It uses pkg-config to look for extra OpenSSL build flags, adds man pages for encfs and encfsctl, and updates the command line processing to allow passing of special arguments through to FUSE.
Release Notes: This release fixes the key initialization problem with Blowfish and keys larger then 128 bits.
Release Notes: In this version, modularization allows for support of multiple crypto libraries and algorithms (only OpenSSL support released for now). It now supports Blowfish and AES (when built with OpenSSL >= 0.9.7) with selectable key sizes and block sizes. It now uses librlog for logging, and logs to syslog when running as a daemon. This release adds encfsctl program which can show basic information about the filesystem, and allow changing the user password used to encrypt the volume key. Backward compatible support allows mounting filesystems created by EncFS 0.2 - 0.6.
Release Notes: This release supports files larger then 2GB. There is a caching improvement which improves seek times in files.
Release Notes: Adds fsync and fdatasync support, if compiled with FUSE CVS or FUSE release dated 12-12-2003 or later. Fixes many build issues with the autoconf/automake/libtool tools and bootstrapping code. Checks for non-existant directories when creating a new filesystem, and checks for absolute path names when running in daemon mode.
Release Notes: This version is now stable enough for public use. Further development will focus on new features and packaging before the 1.0 release.
