Eleven is a programming language for creating robust, scalable Web applications quickly and easily. It offers a 20x programmer productivity increase over traditional server programming languages like ASP, PHP, and JSP by automating state management and taking control of the application's look and feel. From high-level source code with a simple, C-like syntax, the compiler generates complete, ready-to-run implementations in PHP or mod_perl. Applications maintain their state in a relational database and are inherently fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable.

Release Notes: This release now cleans up expired activity records automatically, supports more database and display formatting functions, works properly with multi-byte characters, allows all automatically-generated text to be customized, and handles quotes, backslashes, and HTML and SQL special characters more accurately. It also includes several other minor features and bugfixes.
Release Notes: Eleven is now available precompiled for Windows platforms (in theory 95/95/ME/NT/2000/XP, but only XP has been tested so far). Windows developers can now create Eleven applications without having to build Eleven from source code (no need to install gcc, bison, etc.)
Release Notes: Many new features were added, most notably an elegant mechanism called "livetables" that allows applications to read and write arbitrary database tables. For example, a one-line command invoking the "edit" function on a livetable can generate a complete Web-based table editor, automatically creating SQL queries on demand to select, filter, sort, and page through the table. Other new features included row variables (essentially state-safe hash tables) and dynamic enum variables for creating drop-down menus whose values and labels are automatically populated from tables.
Release Notes: A major bug in the new PHP code generator was fixed. Upgrading is not required if you are only using the mod_perl code generator.
