Release Notes: Improvements found in Elastic Path 4.1 include advanced search engine optimization, the ability to sell service goods with extensive data collection, saved shopping carts, automated product recommendations based on store purchase histories, best-practices for checkout, merchandising enhancements, and advanced reporting capabilities utilizing Crystal Reports.


Release Notes: Multi-language facilities were added to allow customers to view the store in their preferred language. Multiple forms of currency are supported, allowing country-specific prices and selling in any currency. Pre-negotiated contract pricing may be displayed to selected customers and partners. Attribute descriptors and validation patterns allow properties and regular expressions to be assigned to attributes. Web-based configuration management and high-speed data caching were also implemented.


Release Notes: This release has a fully redeveloped service-oriented architecture, an advanced attribute management system, customer groups and personalization, a promotions engine, a full asset manager, an import manager, returns management, and fully indexed internal search capabilities.

The database queries were optimized and reduced in complexity. Custom category and product attributes can now be added with a single line of code, and the default framework store was enhanced. Full Java source code is now included with every license.
