Release Notes: This version includes a new version of the Launch plugin that extends support to all filetypes recognized by Editra. Due to changes in the plugin's underlying data model, this upgrade will force settings from previous versions of the plugin to be reset. There are also a number of API extensions that plugins can use to better integrate with Editra in this release. A number of other important bugs relating to UTF-32 detection and Unicode handling have been integrated as part of this build.
Release Notes: A build issue was fixed with the Mac OS X binaries that prevented them from running on PPC Macs. A new version of both the CodeBrowser and Launch plugin are included. A number of important bugs were fixed.

It has improved vi normal mode emulation support, new bundled key profiles, and a number of important bugfixes. If you are using the Projects plugin, an upgrade of it will also be necessary when installing this release.

Support for multiple views of the same file are now supported so that all views are synchronized when a file is open in multiple windows. Improvements were made to the Python autocompletion and auto-indent functionality.

A basic IPC server has been added to allow for remote control of Editra and communication between instances. All bundled plugins have been updated with some new features. There are some bugfixes.

The bundled CodeBrowser plugin has added support for SQL and improvements to the Python and Perl browsers. Launch has a number of new configuration options. In addition to these new features, a fair number of bugs have also been fixed.
Release Notes: This release adds a new bundled plugin "CodeBrowser" which can be used to browse the structure of important elements in a code document, a new version of the Projects plugin which adds support for the Bazaar source control system, and new localizations and updates to older ones.
Release Notes: This release contains enhanced file encoding handling and detection. When the encoding cannot be detected the default is still to use UTF-8. This release also includes a new bundled plugin for running and launching scripts from within Editra called "Launch". The output of the scripts are parsed for errors and hotspot links are created to allow for direct navigation to the errors. It currently supports 12 scripting languages.
Release Notes: This is a minor feature enhancement and bugfix release. It includes a new version of the FileBrowser plugin that has been enhanced to be able handle most filesystem operations. A number of UI and usability improvements have been made to the editor, as well as support for some new programming languages. A number of bugs have been fixed to further stabilize the editor.
Release Notes: This release contains a number of important bugfixes and and improvements to existing features. Most notable are the major improvements to Python autocompletion. Editra is now able to provide auto-completion tips for most situations, including the local scope. It is still not perfect however so may not be able to provide tips under certain conditions but it is still a major enhancement over the previous system. wxPython is included in the distribution.
