    Release Notes: With 5.3.249 or earlier versions, an exception occurred with Java 1.6.0_24 when an edit-on Pro process triggered by Javascript required elevated privileges, such as when loading resources from an external URL. This issue is fixed by this release.

      Release Notes: Support for Firefox under Mac OS X was added. The bugfixes include a toolbar painting problem when using JRE 1.5.0_08, NPEs when using certain CSS selectors, and rendering issues with margins, floating images, and background colors. Furthermore, problems when uploading images from dynamic URLs were solved.

        Release Notes: The clean up process should now be able to fix invalid NMTOKEN attribute values. Problems with scrolling using the mouse wheel were fixed. Various NPEs were fixed. The advanced table dialog properties no longer insert an empty style. The default accelerator is no longer bound to Ctrl. Keys used as accelerators are no longer processed by the editor. The default action object is now passed as a key within the action object. When there's no image in the editor, the function stated in onuploadfinished="..." is now properly called.

          Release Notes: This hotfix release solves an issue with the previous version, 4.3.131.1, where formatted cut and paste did not work from MS Word.

            Release Notes: The improvements in this release focused on the filtered copy and paste of Microsoft Word contents, increased performance, and extended table and WebDAV functionality. Other important new features include the possibility to insert accessible tables and enhanced dialogs for lists, page properties, and headings. Additionally, it is now possible to include background images, insert comments, or use further JavaScript API functionality. This release also fixes a number of known issues and adds support for Firefox 1.5 and Netscape 8.

              Release Notes: The table authoring capabilities were improved, and now supporting nested tables and interactive table resizing. WebDAV support was extended for images, flash, and multimedia objects. The layout of percentage-based tables was improved. You may now hide or display table borders. User preferences are automatically saved and restored on the client. There is a new mode to limit editing to content within custom elements, which is especially useful for filling out templates. Some important fixes were also made.

                Release Notes: New features include the dynamic loading of fonts from a Web server, working redo/undo in Sourceview, and an autosave function at predefined intervals. Among the issues that were fixed were problems with certain WebDAV servers, problems with images URLs which used redirections, a problem in which inserting a hyperlink over an image was not always possible, and an exception that could occur when using more than one applet. "Dead keys" now work again in Mac OS X, and whitespace is no longer added when posting data to the server.

                  Release Notes: This version features includes improved loading time, support for more CSS styles, text highlighting, strike-through text, syntax highlighting in source view, a "Change Case" dialog, "Save As", a "Read-Only" mode, automatic language detection, automatic encoding detection, new JavaScript APIs, a User Manual, and Online Help. The issues resolved by this release include a problem that sometimes documents were not loaded in Mac OS X, a problem where dead keys did not work, and various other issues.

                    Release Notes: A few known issues were corrected. Two new developer samples were included in the package to demonstrate the use of the Custom Dialog and Custom Tag features. The documentation of those features was also expanded.

                      Release Notes: Features include DTD-based filtering of imported and pasted content, XHTML compliance according to W3C standards through validation against XHTML DTDs, constraining to XHTML DTD subsets, optional cleaning of Microsoft Word content, template-based publishing through CSS based read-only elements and areas, WebDAV protocol support, support for the Java Accessibility Bridge and common Windows screen readers, real-time spellchecking (as you type, drag and drop from Microsoft Word/Excel and other applications), and full Apple Safari support including LiveConnect.
