EDFbrowser is a multi-platform viewer for EEG, EMG, and ECG storage files. It supports the EDF, EDF+, BDF, and BDF+ file formats. It supports montages, annotations, precise measurements by using crosshairs, and a zoom function by drawing a rectangle with the mouse. It shows signals from different files at the same time. It includes a built-in EDF/EDF+/BDF/BDF+ to ASCII converter, a built-in Nihon Kohden to EDF+ converter (including annotations), a built in EDF+D to EDF+C converter, a BDF(+) to EDF(+) converter and a built-in EDF/EDF+/BDF/BDF+ compatibility checker.

Release Notes: This release adds a filter to the annotations list. The BI9800 to EDF converter has been modified to make it work with 48-hour recordings. The viewtime (fileposition) indicator is configurable. The date has been added to the viewtime indicator in the left down corner of the screen. The window title bar is configurable. A bug has been fixed in the EDF+D to EDF+C converter. This release adds the ability to save and load different color schemas. It adds support for the Unisens file format. It adds the ability to save and load color schemas.
Release Notes: This release added an SCP-ECG file to EDF+ converter, two shortcuts (Plus and Minus keys) that increase or decrease the amplitude of the signals (sensitivity), the ability to choose between little endian or big endian encoding in the binary/raw to EDF converter tool, and the ability to use aliases for the signal labels on the screen. The number of pre-defined montage shortcuts was created from 8 to 12 (keys F1 to F12). Qt has been updated to 4.8.5.
Release Notes: This release adds a Manscan MICROAMPS binary file to the EDF+ converter. It solves another bug in the sorting algorithm used for the annotation list.
Release Notes: This release fixes a bug in the ECG heartrate detection algorithm when a high samplerate was used, improves the sorting algorithm used for the annotationlist (it was very slow when the annotationlist contained more than 10,000 annotations), and adds the ability to adjust the samplerate divider for all signals at once in the reducer/decimator tool. EDFbrowser now checks for a newer version during startup. (This can be switched off in the settings menu.)
Release Notes: This release adds a binary/raw to EDF converter tool. It solves a bug in the "Import annotations" tool. When importing from ASCII, incorrect onset times were created when there were more than 7 digits after the decimal point. A scrollbar has been added to the options/settings dialog in order to make it fit on screens with low vertical height (modern laptops with 16:9 screens). GTK-style support has been removed because it's broken. Qt has been updated to 4.8.4.
