Embeddable Common Lisp

ECL (Embeddable Common-Lisp) is an interpreter of the Common-Lisp language as described in the X3J13 ANSI specification. It features CLOS (Common-Lisp Object System), conditions, loops, etc., plus a translator to C, which can produce standalone executables.

      Release Notes: The symbol NIL was not exported from the GRAY package. GRAY:STREAM-PEEK-CHAR was not used at all by ECL.

        Release Notes: This release is the first with a new design of ECL, which includes changes in the way streams are implemented, support for the full Unicode character set, protection against interruptions, and performance improvements.
