I've compiled a few eAccelerator versions for windows:

Very Grateful for this Software
eAccelerator is a great program, besides precompiling scripts it offers a simple and powerful API for accessing its caching functions. It has significantly improved my site's performance and made some features possible which would have been too resource-intensive otherwise. Even this early release has been rock solid. HIGHLY recommended to anyone running PHP on their webserver. Don't forget to donate to the project. ;)

Wow
Installed this on a couple servers today and noticed that the load of the servers did drop. I was quite surprised. Recommend this highly.

great software!
Instead of adding cpu/ram, install eAccelerator, and your good old server will work like a dual xeon :-) Recommanded!

We're currently using it on about 7 servers with high load and availability (linux/php4).

Re: Nice!
That sounds cool, because I don't have MSVC available and I have to admit I failed at setting up DJGPP or another free C/C++ compiler for Windows.
Thanks for your answer too!

Re: Nice!
We have someone who want build binaries for Windows. Give us a little bit more time. Maybe with the next release we can offer it

Nice!
I think it's nice to see that the development of mmcache continues in the form of eAccelerator. It'd have been a real pity to see the source of mmcache becoming orphaned and forgotten.

I have a suggestion already though: It would be really cool if you had binaries available, specially for Windows. In my opinion that was if not a major still a "selling point" of mmcache or at least a reason for many users to just try it out (and stick with it!)

Regards, good luck and thanks already for the work!
