    Release Notes: This version now supports reading DV data from stdin. There are new options for turning on/off camcorder control via AVC and selecting devices by their guid. The AVI file code now uses less memory when writing large files. There are other minor bugfixes.

      Release Notes: This release adds JPEG output with deinterlacing and scaling. It supports capturing using the new dv1394 driver and includes several AVI file format improvements.

        Release Notes: Writing of large (>2 GByte) AVI files is now supported. A commandline parameter for choosing between different AVI index records was added to improve compatibility with legacy and Windows software.

          Release Notes: The PAL/NTSC detection was modified. The old code did not detect the video format properly with certain camcorders, resulting in garbled video AVI files. It is now possible to safely stop dvgrab using ctrl-c and still have a valid AVI file. This version will also compile using gcc-3.0.

              Release Notes: dvgrab will now record 1Gb large files in NTSC AVI Type 2 format, a couple of minor bugs have been fixed, the error handling has been improved, and a binary-only RPM is now available.

                    Release Notes: The new "--every" parameter allows you to save only every nth received frame into the AVI file, thus reducing the data rate significantly. In addition, some minor bugs have been fixed.

                      Release Notes: This version has improved audio support for NTSC and PAL DV data in the Type-2 AVI file format. It also includes much better documentation in HTML format.
