Release Notes: This release adds client/server support capable of servicing either a thin-client (dspamc) or LMTP connections directly from a mail server, LMTP delivery, Bayesian Noise Reduction 2.0, many performance and accuracy enhancements, support for the Streamlined Blackhole List, and an automated corpus maker.
Release Notes: This release contains the completed development for version 3.4. Major enhancements include server-daemon mode, full LMTP in/out support, Bayesian Noise Reduction 2.0, significant enhancements to accuracy, streamlined blackhole list support, a corpus maker tool, and many enhancements to the PostgreSQL and SQLite backends.
Release Notes: Inbound and outbound "standard" LMTP support has been added. A few minor bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: First release candidate for public testing.
Release Notes: Two important bugs have been corrected. One was introduced in the last few patch releases, causing the DSPAM signature not to be written to some email messages (particularly, some types of nested spam), making them "untrainable". The second caused DSPAM to segfault during some specific types of failures, instead of exiting gracefully.
Release Notes: Some CGI enhancements were added, including fast user switching for administrators, on-demand retraining from history, and some patches. A patch was made to improve performance in the PostgreSQL migration tool. A problem was fixed with the location of the body signature.
Release Notes: Many bugs have been fixed from beta 1. Enhancements have been made to the PostgreSQL driver. Documentation for building on OS X has been added. Full preference functionality has been added. A corpus maker tool has been added.
Release Notes: Another last minute fix to set the default level of statistical sedation to 0 (off). The previous default (5) caused a problem in that it would instantiate if the command line was overridden with other features.
Release Notes: A bug was fixed where the statisticalSedation preference was never read into the analysis engine, giving the impression of poor filtering for users who tried to change it or systems where the default was set incorrectly.
Release Notes: The sum of all 3.3 development work. A daemon mode has been added, allowing DSPAM to run in client/server mode. Bayesian Noise Reduction 2.0 has been added. Significant performance enhancements have been made. SDK support for the NodalCore(tm) C-Series card has been added. An SQLite v3 storage driver has been added. Storage profile failover support has been added. Support for the streamlined black hole list server has been added. Accuracy reporting and snapshot support has been added to the command line. Many other minor enhancements have been made.
