Release Notes: New decoders were added for VRRP, PPTP MS-CHAP, SMTP, rexec, ypserv, and NNTPv2. New programs include dnsspoof, msgsnarf, sshmitm, and webmitm. Various bug fixes were made.


Release Notes: HTTP decoding was rewritten to add support for various CGI authentication schemes. New additions include Alpha support, automatic protocol detection, TDS (Sybase, Microsoft SQL Server) parsing, a new filesnarf program, and regular expression matching and POP support for mailsnarf. ARP discovery in arpredirect on Linux was fixed. RPC decodes and TCP half-duplex reassembly were cleaned up.
