Dragon Player

Dragon Player is a KDE video player with an uncluttered interface and smart features. A bundled KPart integrates it into Konqueror. Dragon Player remembers settings specific to each video, not specific to the application (the playback position, the preferred window size, etc.).

    Release Notes: The locking of the volumeSlider if the mute is active was removed. An issue was fixed where if the user pressed ESC in the play media dialog, it wouldn't reappear. Pressing "M" causes mute. The program returns to the logo when playback is explicitly stopped. A new icon was added. A crash on double click in KPart was fixed. The volumeSlider is locked if the mute is active.

      Release Notes: Renamed to Dragon Player from Codeine, it now works with Phonon technology from KDE 4.

        Release Notes: A volume toolbar button was added. The DVD entry for KDE 3.5 and media:/ is played when a DVD is inserted. The media:/ protocol is supported.
