Release Notes: A fix for the problem in trying to compile kernel with -g option, reinstating the check for root (euid==0) in dprobes ioctl, a fix for the oops under SMP when dprobes module is being removed, a fixed interface to crash dump (works only with version >= 4.0), updating the minimum required versions of LTT and crash dump in README, and upgrading to kernel version to 2.4.16.
Release Notes: This release fixes the bug that caused the module list to be exported without the version suffix when CONFIG_MODVERSIONS is set, preventing dprobes module from loading. A segfault in do_getvars which occurred only on S/390 was fixed.
Release Notes: A kernel bug which occurred when the dprobes modules was removed has been fixed. A fix was applied to dr_alloc to make more than one watchpoint work. A segfault on IA64 was fixed in do_query. Now only smp_num_cpu (not NR_CPUS) pages are allocated for aliasing. The README was updated to include module installation instructions. Configure.Help entries were added.
Release Notes: Kernel hooks (gkhi) are now used. The system call was removed, and dprobes is now a character driver whose user-space interface is through ioctls. DProbes can be built as a module. Watchpoint probes ("Global Debug Registers"/CONFIG_DR_ALLOC) can now be turned off in the build. The call_kmod instruction was added. A new log target, posix event log, was added. Bug fixes and cleanups were made in query/getvars. The exit to kdb was fixed so that backtrace works. The ros instruction in cmdl.l was fixed to accept '-' in names. The kernel source was upgraded to 2.4.12.
