Other minor test fixes and changes were made. A safe migration path for the 1.2 branch is offered. Neither 1.2.1 or 1.2.2 are published to the various CDNs, and 1.2.3 is expected to be the last dot-release on the 1.2 codebase.

Release Notes: A new, high-performance, well-tested storage engine was added. A new, lightweight animation engine was added. Cross-domain AJAX and package loading support were added. Less boilerplate is needed when writing widgets thanks to dojo.widget.defineWidget. Many new widgets were added, including SortableTable, TitlePane, Form validation, Menus, Menu bars, Google maps, and Yahoo maps.


Release Notes: Dojo is now dual-licensed under the AFL 2.1 and a 3-clause BSD license in order to allow use in (L)GPL projects. In addition to major namespace refactorings, this release adds a new HTML WYSIWYG component, persistent local storage, JSON and JSON-RPC, background file uploading, and numerous new widgets.
