ditaa

ditaa is a small command-line utility that can convert diagrams drawn using ASCII art into proper bitmap graphics. It interprets ASCII art as a series of open and closed shapes, but it also uses special markup syntax to increase the possibilities of shapes and symbols that can be rendered.

    Release Notes: Parsing was optimized and is now about 90% faster. Support for different text encodings was added. Line separation bugs and open shape rendering bugs with missing lines were fixed. Command-line options were tidied up and the Apache commons-cli is now used. The release process was streamlined. This version is generally more reliable.
