DIRED-DD aka. dired-drag-drop

Dired-dd (a.k.a. Dired-DragDrop) is a minor emacs mode enabling a mouse interface for dired/dired-x. It can mark files/directories in a dired buffer, drag and drop them into a dired buffer, open files (or execute a defined function) by dragging into a non-dired buffer, and also executes the external UNIX command related to a file extension. FTP via drag-and-drop is possible (except recursive copying).
