              Release Notes: AlbumBrowser was added again, as well as a threaded thumbnail generator for AlbumBrowser. An ImageViewer was added, which opens upon doubleclick. A slideshow feature was added (with or without sliding effects). Thumbnails are now gotten for all camera items by default. Experimental Support for USB mass storage cameras was added. The setup was updated to show new features. The ability to set the default thumbnail size was added. Thumbnails are now cached while downloading images from the camera. Camera upload functionality was added. Drag and drop to and from the camera and the album browser is now possible. A French translation was added.

                Release Notes: This release has been ported to KDE3. The photo browser has been removed (it will be introduced back only if there's enough demand from users). Digikam is multithreaded (using QThread/QMutex) now for non-blocking operation. A menu bar has been added. XMLGUI is used for tool bar/menu bar actions. The ability to disconnect from the camera, the ability to hide camera folders and the status bar, context-specific menus for icons in the camera browser, the ability to resize thumbnails for display, documentation, Debian rules, and a SuSE RPM spec file have been added.
