    Release Notes: Improvements to GCC 4 support. toascii, ustat, strnlen, clearenv, ngettext, dngettext, strdupa, and strndupa are provided. Extended attribute, thread, and misc. syscalls have been added. There are many general and platform-specific bugfixes.

        Release Notes: diet can now use $DIETHOME to locate the installation. Some BSD backwards compatibility cruft was added. A few bugfixes were made.

            Release Notes: This release has PPC64 and s390x targets, PA-RIS and IA-64 build fixes. Many standards compliance issues have been fixed.

              Release Notes: This version adds and fixes enough functions to make compiling Perl and Python possible. libpthread was completely rewritten, and more new functionality in gcc 3.3 is now used.

                Release Notes: This release contains many fixes for different architectures, especially for both the ia64 and x86-64 arch. New 2.5 syscall #defines were added.

                  Release Notes: This release uses gcc's size_t, ptrdiff_t and wchar_t, uses a smaller MIPS memory model, adds munlock, adds ~/.diet/gcc CFLAGS bypass, and fixes in regex line ends, SPARC signals, and setjmp and friends for x86_64. A few more bytes were optimized away.

                    Release Notes: This release contains fixes for 'calloc' and 'malloc'. An ABI violation in the unified syscall was also fixed.

                      Release Notes: There are new ports to x86_64 and IA64, stpcpy, expanded large file support, better support for signals (signal now has BSD signal semantic), a clone for PA-RISC, better support for gcc 3, and header cleanups.
