Deletemail is a non-interactive tool for removing mail from one or more IMAP4 mailboxes. It removes mail older than a configurable number of days, and by default does not remove mail that is not marked as seen on the server.

    Release Notes: The handling of unexpected IMAP server behavior and connection problems was improved, and a few minor bugs have been fixed.

      Release Notes: STARTTLS support has been added, and the handling of IMAP errors was improved. Two ugly bugs have been fixed. One of them caused IMAP logins to fail on some systems, and the other resulted in an incorrect number of deleted messages being reported.

        Release Notes: OpenSSL support for secure IMAP connections has been added, and some minor bugs have been fixed.

          Release Notes: Multiple folders may now be specified for a given account. The configuration file has been changed to a more flexible format, and some configuration variables have been added. The IMAP code and error handling have been improved. Quite a few bugs are now fixed, and the docs were enhanced.
