DCP-Portal

DCP Portal is a content management system with advanced features like Web-based updates, links, files, member management, polls, a calendar, a content informer, content sending by members, etc. It includes an admin panel, an HTML editor to add news and content, a mailing list, a search engine, content categories, a FAQ, easy setup, a publish in homepage option, .txt file import for content, multi-language support, a forum, a message system, a member agenda, and ad management. Members can submit news and content, write reviews, and receive the added content via email. The site design can be changed with one template file, It works with register_globals=off.

Release Notes: Some security and general bugs have been fixed. The WYSIWYG HTML editor has been updated. This release shows total activities for the day and the latest week. Some graphics in admin area have been changed. The installation script has been updated.

Release Notes: This release includes a full code review. System processing and display speed are optimized, and the speed is increased about 10 times. Some security fixes have been made. It works with register_globals = off in php.ini. SQL via cookie hijacking is also prevented. The new HTML editor supports Mozilla 1.3+ on all operating systems as well as IE5.5+ on Windows. Many bugs are fixed.

Release Notes: This release adds a star rating system for contents and links, a text document importation option in content administration, and a "publish in homepage" option in the admin area. The WYSIWYG HTML editor has been changed, and features image upload and preview features.

Release Notes: DCP-Portal's cookie login system allowed hackers to modify site and member information; this new version closes this hole by validating members and admins with a hash code.

Usability
It seemed to me a very promising project until i tried to take a look at the specs.

I couldn't. I had to install turkish on my w2k so i gave it all up.
