Release Notes: The most significant of the new features allows users to sort columns in any order. Prior to this release columns were sorted alphabetically and that was the only option. Another new feature is support for foreign keys in MySQL databases. This release can now support and export larger diagrams. In addition, performance improvements should make working with these larger diagrams quicker and easier.
Release Notes: It is now easier to view and modify database data. Using the new Table Data Viewer feature, users can easily view all the data in database tables. Even more importantly, users can use the Insert, Update, and Delete functionality of Table Data Viewer to modify table data or generate data modification SQL scripts. The Insert and Update functionality dynamically generates user friendly GUI forms specifically based on the table structure, saving users from having to write SQL from scratch.
Release Notes: The data types available have been changed, with several new data types including Text and TimeStamp. The ability to specify Scale for Numeric and Decimal data types has been added. The Forward and Reverse Engineering modules have been overhauled to be more accurate and to produce better logging output. For the user interface, additional multi-threading is being used to improve responsiveness for long running operations.
Release Notes: ERD rendering and refresh rate have been improved. Changes to the layout of several input screens. Installation and setup has been improved.
Release Notes: This release focused on making common tasks easier and eliminating repetitive tasks. Tables can now be quickly populated with common columns, such as Id and Name, using Column Templates. It allows users to define templates for these common columns and have them automatically added to new tables upon creation. Simple foreign keys can be added much more quickly by selecting the child table from a diagram and then selecting the parent table from a drop down menu.
Release Notes: This release features mostly bugfixes and some additions to the main menu and popup menus to make it simpler to accomplish common tasks, such as renaming entities and exporting diagram images. Also, the rendering performance of the diagrams has been improved significantly.
Release Notes: The main features of this release include JPEG and PNG export of ERDs, the ability to specify background and foreground colors for ERD tables, forward engineering a DDL for a blank database even if a database already exists on the server, and the File menu maintaining a list of the most recent files accessed.
Release Notes: Bugfixes related to forward and reverse engineering were made. Minor tweaks were done to improve diagram rendering and application startup speed.
Release Notes: The config file path had a Windows type slash, which was causing problem on Linux and Mac OS machines. This should now be fixed.
