Release Notes: Improvements were made to database modeling, code engineering, modeling, interoperability, and team collaboration. This release supports modeling, reverse and forward engineering of stored procedure and database triggers, bookmarking diagrams and shapes, batch processing through running command-line operations, mass selection of shapes through Handi-Selection, and much more. Other useful features include exporting revisions from Teamwork server/SVN/CVS, managing pre-written documentation templates, and jumping to a diagram via the Jump To dialog box.

  •  15 Aug 2007 03:43

Release Notes: A branch and tag capability was introduced to the VP Teamwork Server, Subversion, and CVS repository integration. With advanced branch and tag support, different modeling projects can run in parallel while keeping the release quality project stable in the trunk. There are also a number of enhancements for various other features.

Release Notes: Reverse engineering of ERD from DDL was introduced. ERD models like entities, views, and relationships can be generated by reversing the data definition language. Images can be incorporated into documentation. Documentation structure can be saved as a template for reuse in other models. Hibernate annotations are supported in ORM persistence. Hibernate version tags can be generated for optimistic concurrency control. There are also a number of enhancements for the modeling features.

Release Notes: CVS and SVN integration was added. Support was added for importing and exporting UML2 models through XMI, the default serialized form of EMF. More types of candidate objects can be identified from textual analysis. Element sorting was added in report generation. Diagrams are now grouped by category in the diagram navigator. Support for the FrontBase database was added. A diagram summary can optionally be included in report generation.

Release Notes: A new persistent architecture improves speed and memory usage in handling middle to large scale projects both in local and teamwork environments. You can design your own notation with Shape Editor. A large diagram can be sliced into a specified number of output images. You may add files, URLs, and diagram references to models for elaboration or navigation purposes. Instant Reverse can visualize your implementation to Class diagram with a few clicks. The program can be configured to use a specific application or command to open different types of files. The Viewer Edition is free for browsing your project.

Release Notes: Reports can now be generated in MS Word format. Tagged values can be used to add properties to any model elements and applied to a stereotype. A mechanism was added to notify you for update when a certain time interval has elapsed. Sub-diagram and reference of shapes are now easy to add, check, and access. The undo and redo for resource centric have been enhanced. On update and On delete foreign key options are now supported. DAO is generated in the Java Interface, which helps to create, retrieve, and persist data to Persistent Object through static methods. A revamped HTML report provides a fresh new look.

  •  18 Sep 2006 20:12

Release Notes: "New Diagram" and "New Model" dialogs were introduced to enhance diagram and model creation. A duplicate relationship reuses all values within a relationship specification. All diagrams support a Package Header, which is a package to hold models within a diagram. Database view support includes reverse engineer views from the database and the ability to generate code for querying views. Detection of project modification state and view settings was enhanced in the Teamwork Client. The presentation option for ERD was enhanced. Ingres database support was added. Mac support was enhanced.

Release Notes: All supported databases now support stored procedures. The Foreign Key Name Mapping feature can help you to update the foreign key column name according to a Foreign Key Pattern, including Relationship name and referenced table information in the ER Diagram. You can define the constraint name for primary keys, unique constraints, and check constraints. A user can specify the default value for each column.
