DBPrism is an open source framework to generate dynamic XML from a database. It connects Oracle databases with Apache Cocoon, providing a high performance DBGenerator with functionality such as parallel content aggregation and ESI cache protocol. It also includes a powerlful database oriented CMS built on top of Apache Cocoon2 and DBPrism.

Release Notes: This is a maintenance release which includes a DBPrism Generator for the Apache Cocoon2 framework. It includes several enhancements, such as remote debugging using Oracle JDeveloper, and some bugfixes.
Release Notes: This release includes 1.2.x production version of mod_plsql, although being a prerelease of the 2.0 branch. It also includes optimization improvements, new features such as connection pooling using JNDI, exclusion list of packages, Xform wrapper, new parameters, and a security layer and the front end for the CMS, and bugfixes.
Release Notes: This new release has many improvements on the Cocoon2 generator, such as parallel content aggregation and the External Cache Invalidator Server (which supports the ESI invalidation protocol). DBPrism CMS uses the new features of the generator and includes a new addin for Oracle JDevelopor 9i for quick uploading of CMS assests directly through an XML editor. Also, minor bugs have been fixed.
Release Notes: The XML documentation includes more sections. document-v10.dtd includes SVG entities, and DB Prism CMS can store and search SVG images inside the XML content. The Jxtp Toolkit for Oracle 8i/9i now uses BLOB. A DBPrismGenerator has been added for the Cocoon 2 Architecture. CMS was rewritten using Cocoon 2. dbprism.ear was added for J2EE (OC4J). Step-by-step documentation for installing DB Prism/Cocoon 2 on OC4J has been added. CMS has been integrated with Oracle Web Cache. DB Prism mod_plsql demos for OC4J and DB Prism XML demos with Java Stored procedures and DB Prism/Cocoon CMS for OC4J have been added.
