Release Notes: Several problems were uncovered in the IMAP envelope code which have now been fixed. Daemons now detach from the console and redirect errors to separate logfiles. Unix sockets are now unlinked on termination. The internal_date field is now set correctly when importing mbox mailboxes. Zombies are reaped when forking fails. Problems with folder listing on Solaris were fixed. Documentation has been updated and rewritten using AsciiDoc. Many bugfixes, cleanups, and speedups were done.

Release Notes: The IMAP SORT extension is now fully supported for fast message listings. Sieve scripts can be used to sort, discard, or send vacation messages during mail delivery. Drivers for the database and authentication backends are now loadable modules, making life easier for distribution packaging. Numerous bugs have been fixed, and there are small improvements made all around.

Release Notes: This release removes all unsafe code from the signal handlers which may have suffered from unreliable behaviour in the process pool code. It adds 'ON UPDATE CASCADE' to all foreign key restraints in the MySQL (InnoDB) and PostgreSQL create_table files. The POP3 AUTH command no longer returns a list of supported authentication mechanisms when issued without arguments.

Release Notes: Address verification no longer skips the aliases table for sites that use email-as-username naming. Messages to users who are over quota are bounced with a quota error rather than held in the queue. IMAP search is now much faster. Various bugs in the dbmail-users and dbmail-util utilities were fixed. Many queries now have improved performance on PostgreSQL, and are compatible with PostgreSQL 8. Builds without errors on FreeBSD.

Release Notes: One major bug was fixed. The authentication code (used for POP3 and IMAP) did not check the database connection before using it. A dropped database connection resulted in a crash. This has been fixed by checking the connection, and reconnecting in case of a dropped connection.

Release Notes: Both small and bigger bugs have been fixed. Infinite loops in both the POP3 and the IMAP daemon have been fixed, making these services much more stable. Also, Apache-style pre-forking has been merged from the 2.1 codebase, making the number of running daemons much more configurable and adaptable to the number of clients connected.

Release Notes: This release fixes some bugs and has some speedups. DBMail now works with Sylpheed, which it did not before because of a bug in UID Search handling. Working with Web-based mail systems like Squirrelmail is better now, because DBMail supports the IMAP SORT command. Speed has improved by improving database queries and being smarter in database handling.

Release Notes: This new stable version adds an LMTP daemon and two important IMAP extensions: ACL and NAMESPACE. Other changes are mostly cleanups and making features more standards compliant. The MTA will now handle bounces itself. The command line switches for the programs are now consistent, and the online help was improved. The code has been cleaned up. The build system used is autotools, in combination with libtool. The database code for PostgreSQL and MySQL has been merged, leaving only two small driver files.

Release Notes: Forwarding to an alias no longer fails when the alias also points to a local recipient that is over quota. IMAP now returns INTERNALDATEs with time zone information. Some memory leaks were fixed.
